This Saratoga Springs wedding in Northern California reminds us why we love tall trees, forests, and woodland weddings. And more significantly, it reminds us of how delighted we are when we get to photograph other high school sweethearts. Kayla and Ty are about as sweet as they come. These two scientists celebrated their love in front of their closest family and friends at the Saratoga Springs Cathedral Grove venue. Inspired by the outdoors, they incorporated many woodsy and rustic details into their wedding decor, including tree stump stands for their pie display. They also added exotic fruits as part of their reception centerpieces as a symbolic way to honor Ty's Chinese heritage.
Kayla and Ty were a classic bride and groom, wearing a beautiful lace gown and a dashing black tuxedo. The dark purple lace bridesmaids dresses also added to the classic and elegant feel of the bridal party, which could not have looked more perfect in the golden light filtering through the tall pines. Kayla carried her father's spirit close to her in a locket attached to her bouquet.
We cannot be more thrilled for Kayla and Ty and we hope they have a wonderful honeymoon adventure in Vienna, Prague, and Budapest!
